In light of Valentine’s Day, the topic of teen pregnancy has its place. Parents should be aware that many teens make Valentine’s Day that special day to lose their virginity. Valentine’s Day sex is not uncommon but for some teens it can be the first day of the rest of their life in regret. The myths that surround the first time sex experience can be terribly misleading, for example thinking they cannot get pregnant the first time or if they have their period but false and misleading statements. Boys and girls are no different either, they both experience peer pressure and have to make decisions based on what they know.
